Wisconsin Dells

It was the ingenious idea of some local resort owners to put a roof over a waterpark attraction and, voila, the phenomenon that is the indoor waterpark became synonymous with the Wisconsin Dells. There are a multitude of Wisconsin Dells indoor waterparks and water playgrounds to choose from, with accommodations to suit every fancy. They are open 12 months a year, so no excuses when it comes to finding a convenient time to visit.

We're home to the country's largest outdoor waterpark, Noah's Ark Waterpark. Even the many indoor waterpark resorts have sprawling outdoor waterparks out back. We call that the best of both worlds.

MOVING CHECKLIST

  1. Develop a master “to do” list so you wont forget something critical.
  2. Sort and get rid of things you no longer want or need. Have a garage sale, donate to a
  3. charity, or recycle.
  4. Dont throw out everything. If your inclination is to just toss it, ask yourself how frequently you use an item and how youd feel if you no longer had it.
  5. Pack like items together. Put toys with toys, kitchen utensils with kitchen utensils.
  6. Decide what if anything you plan to move yourself. Precious items such as family photos, valuable breakables, or must-haves during the move should probably stay with you.
  7. Use the right box for the item. Loose items encourage breakage.
  8. Put heavy items in small boxes so theyre easier to lift. Keep weight under 50 lbs. if possible.
  9. Dont over-pack boxes and increase the chances they will break.
  10. Wrap every fragile item separately and pad bottom and sides of boxes.
  11. Label every box on all sides. You never know how theyll be stacked and you dont want to have to move other boxes aside to find out whats there.
  12. Use color-coded labels to indicate which room each item should go in. Color-code a floor plan for your new house to help movers.
  13. Keep your moving documents together, including phone numbers, drivers name and van number. Also keep your address book handy.
  14. Back up your computer files before moving your computer.
  15. Inspect each box and all furniture for damage as soon as it arrives.
  16. Remember, most movers wont take plants.
